'Central Oregon's Public Range'

The Nomination Committee needs your help in developing a list of candidates for the December Board Election. The Redmond Rod and Gun Club (RRGC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)4 organization, and Board officers and directors are volunteers who serve 2-year terms. Positions open for election this year are Vice-President, Secretary, and Directors of Cowboy Action, Marketing, Sporting Clays, Trap, and Youth Programs. At present the Vice-President position is vacant. The current Secretary and Marketing Director have indicated they will not seek re-election. The current Directors of Cowboy Action (James Hawkins), Sporting Clays (David Gilbertson), Trap (Keil Van Nice), and Youth Programs (Brian Ferry) have indicated they will run for re-election. Presently there is one candidate (Curt Hinshaw) for the Secretary position.

RRGC needs motivated, committed members to fill these key leadership positions to insure we stay open! To serve on the Board you must be a member and have been one for 2 consecutive years. Please consider nominating yourself or another member you think would be a good fit for one of these Board positions. A description of the responsibilities for Board positions is in RRGC’s Bylaws which are available online by clicking the “About Us” tab at https://www.rrandgc.com/. If interested in serving on the Board please contact Brian Ferry, Chair of the Nomination Committee at 541 923-3136 or This email address is being protected from spambots. President Gerry Glave recently sent an informational notice to the membership regarding the Board decision canceling this year’s annual membership meeting. His notice also included important information about how this year’s election will be conducted. The important thing is we are still having the election, and we need your help with nominations, and for you to vote. Please come to the Trap office December 6, 9, 11, or 12, and VOTE!
